So, here she is, the new blog.

I decided to go with a self-hosted blog to give me the flexibility to do whatever I wanted, like put javascript in my sidebar. It’s not too fancy, but this is a content-driven blog, not a place for me to perfect my Web 2.0 skills. So, I wanted a layout that would feature the content and be simple and easy to read, and I think this design works pretty well. It will likely undergo some minor tweaks in the near future, but I like it for the most part.

So, subscribe to the new RSS feed, look around, and email me if you see any boo-boos. I’ll get back to subverting the north American evangelical youth ministry empire in a few days.

[Update: At the request of Brit, I have added the capability for people to get comment updates to specific posts via email.]

oh might i suggest if you can steal something from the blogger website. i like how blogger allows you to subscribe to the that particular blog and sends updates to all who have posted on that particular blog. it allows me to keep up if someone is trashing me ;-) get online some time so we can chat…i have things to rant about

You know the feeling you get when you walk in a hospital, i get that feeling when i come to this site. I think it just doesnt feel warm. Maybe it’s the colors. (the white background) I dont know. But, who cares what i think…i will still be a loyal reader because I love you that much! :)

Hmmm, hospitals scare me. I’ll see what I can do. Wifey will be out of town this weekend, so I’ll be able to toy around with it a bit.
