A Must-Read
2006 October 24
I got a nice, large shipment of youth ministry books last week and picked up Mark Yaconelli’s Contemplative Youth Ministry on Friday. I could not put the book down. I read probably 150 or more pages the first day, which I usually don’t do. I’m almost done with it, and it has been really amazing. It is an excellent blend of encouragement, practical advice, theological reflection, and prioritzing. I think it may be the best youth ministry book I’ve ever read. Mark puts in words what I’ve been feeling and thinking for so long.
A must-read for youth ministers, hands-down.
