Arg…

I’ve not been very happy with myself lately. It seems as if I’ve been having trouble being productive recently. And by productive I simply mean getting done what I have to get done in the time I have alotted for myself to do it. I tell myself, “I need to get [X] finished by [Y] date.” Typically, that ends up just not happening. I’ve got two things going on this weekend that I still need to work on. I find myself doing this a lot. I don’t get many “weekends” because I’m always working on stuff for church that I had planned on getting done during the week. But the thing is, I don’t waste my time away doing nothing while I am in the office. It’s like my time just vanishes. I really need to work on prioritizing my time and figuring out what is going on.

I write this because this blog is supposed to be an exercise in discipline. And here I am, not able to write my Friday post because I’ve got “work” that I need to finish instead. So, this blog is helping me realize that I don’t prioritize my time well. I must fix this. It’s just not healthy. And it will probably come to bite me in the rear soon.
