Random Tidbits

A few interesting things I’ve read recently:

CNN.com: “God references quashed; ‘VeggieTales’ creator steamed” – Not surprisingly, there’s been a bit of buzz about the fact that NBC, who bought the rights to VeggieTales, has been removing overt references to God in order to secularize the show.  Honestly, did anyone think that NBC would air VeggieTales “as-is” when they sold them the rights?  If you wanted to maintain distincly Christian content, why sell the rights to the show to a secular company?  I don’t fault NBC… I want to know how much the rights were bought for and where the money went.

[I lost the other 3/4 of this post.  Why did it disappear when I hit save!? ARG!  I'm not retyping it.  Not now at least.  And probably not ever]
